I have managed to track down two cards with UK price stickers that are on my want list but the owner doesn't want to sell as he is going for a set of Trilogo backers, the good thing is however that he is happy to trade them out for non price stickered versions if I can find nice examples of the ones he has

Had it in the back of my receeding noggin I have both backers... found them, turned out they were both Jedi cards not Tri's. Will also keep peepers peeled for ya.

like you new avatar joe, how come your collecting tri's with uk stickers anyway? interesting subject matter i too love the uk price tags especially reduced stickers with the date they were reduced. you win the bwing pilot tri on ebay last week with a wh smiths reduced sticker on. i should of pmd you about it actually bud my apologies

Poncho it's kind of a project of mine, I am quite interested in the distribution of Trilogos in Europe and there are certain variants that are meant to have been made for the German market. On my travels I kept seeing them turn up with UK price stickers on so wherever they were made/intended for they definitely saw release over here in the UK which kind of goes against what the theory is on these card variants.

So, I went and checked my matrix and found there are 26 German cards out there - my aim is to try to find them all with UK stickers on to prove that the entire range of "German" backers made it to our shores. There is some supporting information that confirms Germany did produce Trilogo figures for a certain period of time and I am not trying to prove that wrong with this collecting venture but it would be interesting if I could find the complete set and it may answer questions or create even more

Cardbacks are also a nice little area of collecting that I always had a soft spot for, I just didn't see myself collecting a Trilogo set MOC and a set of backers side by side, would have been a bit pointless so this is a mini set with a purpose.

BTW- completely forgot about R5 but thanks for the PM, it might not have been the card variant I was after but the sticker was priceless!

nice project joe fantastic i hope you find them, i do love the tri cardbacks my cardback collecting aim is too have a pristine cardback for each figure be it sw esb rotj tri or potf or foreign im nearly there im about 10 short and about 15 i need to upgrade to better condition

ive a tri dsd card with a (£) price on a blue sticker, no store name or date though! but where the bubble has been ripped off its taken of that bit of the front of the card so looks rough as, thought id give a look in as i remember you were looking for a dsd ,before i sell a bulk stack of jedi cards on evilbay

im embarrest i mentioned it now because its a wreck even todd wouldnt touch it as he was interested in seeing a pic of it, he said it was gone too far for even one of his repairs! will keep my eye out for a pristine for you 8)
