The pictures are piss poor and shame on the seller but i believe this is a hyrid "trilogo" Cloud Car Pilot. These are very rare and altho ugly this should sell for closer to 1000. A guy sold a Hammerhead version of this for 1700 last week so this one could easily do the same. Don't ask me to explain why people like these tho cos i can't tell yer... "rare" maybe but this is the third come up for sale in a week. (2 hammerheads and then this CCP)

Yeah I saw the Hammerhead. Is this type of hybrid a ROTJ front and a tri-logo back? Where were they produced?

Yes i believe that to be the case. They also have trilogo type bubbles. Many of the figures never produced on "proper" tris were produced this way instead. Walrusman, Snaggle, Hammerhead, Greedo, Bespin Guards and CCP. There may be others but that's just off the top of my head.
I can't remember what country they were produced in. Possibly britain or france. It does say in my Mecanno to Tri Logo book but i can't be bothered to cross the room and get it. :lol:

After reading your site Joe, I then thought to myself, "well how do we know this has a tri-logo back if he hasn't taken a photo of the back of it?"

Walrusman never made it unfortunately Pete but you can find him on an ROTJ Palitoy with a "trilogo" large bubble so ...kinda but not quite

There is a "search" feature on the top right of the site if you ever get lost (I realise sometimes if you aren't sure where you are supposed to be looking the information doesn't fly out at you!)

Honestly the hybrids are not the hardest to find figures by a long shot and many don't even call them trilogos, CCP and Hammerhead are supposed to top the list with the bespin guards behind them with Greedo and finally the quite easy to find Snaggletooth.

Yeah, I think this guy is selling a CCP and a Snaggletooth. Sweet pick-up I suppose!

That CCP might be the answer to a lot of peoples prayers, it *should* go under most peoples budget for that figure and the damage that got him a low AFA score is on the back apparently so it's kind of win win for anyone wanting a decent but cheaper than normal CCP.

However- with what's been happening lately... lol it might go 2k haha

Interestingly- the seller is the guy that is well known for horribly over paying for items, he was the one that won that ERG for $1k the other month and he has been noticed before for overpaying for stuff..quite surprised he started his auctions at 99p lol
