ok teachers on here, my sis just had her ofsted and got "outstanding" . she just rang and went on about it for 15 ****ing mind numbing minutes. she reckons its hard to get and i was just like " well what do you want a blue peter badge or something" .
not the fact she spent the entire weekend preparing and bribed the kids with a movie day on friday

Ok that means as much to me as to you, but I reckon most teachers prepare pretty thoroughly for Ofsted and I'm sure there is more blatant bribery than that goes on.

Probably like checks in any walk of life. Do it right on the day and the same old crap way the other 364 days. :D

It is a good thing to achieve but they do courses for teachers on how to get one.

It's pretty much a case of doing exactly what is on the inspectors checklist and you'll get one.

The highest I have got is a "good" which is the next step down from "outstanding". But then again I didnt bribe the kids......well obviously not enough!
