Correction, I got the site wrong, its further away but is a MUCH nicer location by the looks of it, but I have just asked if the tents will be costing us a pitch each as its 9.50 for the camper & "may be" 9.50 per tent so have told them they will only be 1 man tents right next to the camper to see what they say, if so we may be best to bunk up in the camper to keep costs down.

EDIT: from what I have heard back so far, all the ones close to the messe are booked up already FFS, but it does look like a great location & there is the river running next to it & place to chill right outside the site next to the river.

Frank, thanks for all the research mate, we all appreciate it.
If this is the best we can get then we'll have to go for it.
Hopefully the public transport there will be good. Otherwise it may be a case of driving into the town each day and trying to find somewhere to park.

Most but not all (I contacted 7 sites in total), you are welcome to try them Jason, see if you can come up with better, the breakdown is as follows price wise on the one I can get -

€ 9,50 one camper and tent
€ 5,50 per adult
€ 1,00 electric

Summary = € 16,00 per night for 1 camper and tent and one person. + the extra € 5,50 per adult, so looking at € 32,50 per night all in if there are 4 of us.

With it being a way from the venue would it be worth hiring a car for when we are there if Jason can not find a closer option that is.

That's not too bad. When you consider the ferry was over £100 cheaper than we planned we are getting the campsite for free!
Hiring a car would start getting pricey.
I'd be happier driving the falcon everyday, blagging a lift or catching some public transport.

Payment is in cash when we get there & they have confirmed a space is available for us on those days 25/26&27 (camper van tent & 4 adults if you can call us that :lol: )
