Im trying not to spil myself with news coming out for The Force Awakens. I did watch the teaser trailer but won't be watching the full trailer so as not to see too much.
I am however interested in what peoples thoughts are regarding this film with 8 odd months to go?
I was super excited when it was announced, just pleased that Star Wars lives and the story continues. Was even more excited when the original actors were signed up.
Since then however my anticipation has been chipped away slowly. Firstly, my vintage collecting has been a little violated by a new bunch of 'experts' (investers) pushing up prices to silly levels. Then Rebels. Hmmmm. Some people liked it. I have liked most things Star Wars (the prequals and clone wars cartoons included), but I really didnt enjoy them. They could have been so much better. Then I watched Abrams Star Trek stuff for the first time the other night. Oh boy not great. Also tried out some Dsiney Marvel. Nope, not liking that either. Its all just a little generic. And I'm thinking, so this is how new Star Wars is going to play out, Star Wars by numbers.
So come on people who spoil themselves with news and stuff, let me know what you think. Am I going to be blown away? Without giving away plot details if you can, is this going to be a worth a trip to the states for the premiere??
