As per title, I always used to get an email saying you have a new message, but it happening since new years, anyone else having the same?

Yep, same here, doesn't really bother me though as I'm on here every 15-20mins trying to see what the latest bargains are that Iain has put up on the FS thread.... :lol: :lol:

Same here also.
I can imagine we've overloaded the server over Christmas and New Year. We had this a few months back. I think Edd said there is a 2000 notification per hour limit on the server. If it has to send more than that it crashes and stops sending them.

Been ill since Boxing Day and its now spread to my ear which creates a massive feeling of pressure in the head. Like walking on the bottom of the ocean.

I've not been ill at all which is unusual as I'm normally snivelly during Christmas. Went out for a run NYD morning and didn't feel too fit though :lol:

No Pm's and have been ill on and off...
Went for a run to sweat it our the other day and nearly died.
Although I ran today... 7 miles in under 8 mins per mile so, not too bad.
I thought you were supposed to get slower the further you run?!
Anyway, no... not getting any PM's.

Yeah they were appearing in my spam box too. I assumed that was because I delete them without reading and log on to the site when they appear.

I don't need people to stop sending PMs, but cutting down on the amount of threads you subscribe to really helps.

i am getting messages but a few days after they got sent!
I'm not getting notifications of PM's either. As Edd says the problem is the number the server has to send out. The problem is too many people are subscribed to topics and that's what's over loading it.
