Depending on what you want, a lot of papers will sell you old editions if you get in touch. It may cost you a few quid, plus postage, but if you're mad keen it's an option.

If it's of any help there were no articles relating to Star Wars on that date. I checked them all.
Plenty on the Monday though which you probably already have
