Newbie: two special coin cards??

Hi I have two potf special coin cards, one with darth maul (card damaged) and one of boba fett in a case but no grading moc both say Kenner 1984 on.

These have both been in a personal collection for some time now. Is there any financial values to these at all?

The Darth Maul would have to be a fake as he wasn't around as a character in 1984. You'll have to some pics of them both so members can verify what you have.

No need to upload the pictures. What you can do is stop your ebay listings they are both fake. Like Ryan said Darth Maul is a modern figure that did not go back in time to get carded POTF & Boba fett was not ever released to the public on a POTF card :evil: True value about $20 each, you may even get $30+ if listed honestly.

Hi guys

Thank you all for your valued comments.

As you can see, I'm having a clear out and found a box full of star wars stuff belonging to my late husband, some which are Afa rated in clear hard shells.

Clearly, I've wasted my Sunday's research and using eBay as a gateway for these, and obviously have no idea what I'm doing, therefore, I have removed ALL my star wars listings.

Hi Dawn

I am pretty sure that people would not have been so quick to criticise had the circumstances been known. There are a lot of people out there looking to make quick money from selling fake items (as there are in most industries). Generally they are picked up on here and not well received.

If you do have a large collection of figures and would like some help with values/selling them then I am sure we would be able to do this for you.

There is a link above advising how to upload pictures - photobucket is the best way. Once up the folk on here can give you some idea of value and also others may choose to make you offers if you are interested. If you can sell them on here then you will obviously avoid the ebay fees and to be fair the people on here are a very easy bunch to deal with.

Its mainly all modern and worth very little by the looks of it. I would go as far as to say maybe £80 for the lot at a glance. That might be generous though.

This is mainly a vintage forum which is why the Fett and Maul on "Vintage Style" POTF repro cards caught peoples eyes. If I were you I would start these items off at 99p and see where they go. Listing tem separately will prob. bring in more money.
