Hi guys,

Thought it would be a great idea to have a central thread detailing all the places in the UK & ireland that sell vintage SW.

Have made a start on a google map and have added the places I currenly know
https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zZHId4ULiSaw.kxzIbqCMfa7I&usp=sharing
Once the page is live, if you reply with a location I will add it to the map.

But I think we need a catchy name :D and was wondering if I could pick your brains.

Have you guys got suggested name for the new thread?

Names suggested so far....

- Vintage SW finder (Clawrence)
- The new 2016 vintage shop directory (poncho)
- Vintage Britain (kingshearer)

Looking foward to seeing your suggestions

**UPDATE** If using an android/iphone you will need to download the google maps app.
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/google-maps/id585027354?mt=8 (iphone)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.maps (android)

Cheers
Chris

I think this is a great idea personally, very useful when people go on day trips to see if there are shops worth going to.

Great idea there was a similar thread a couple of years ago. I suggest you coalate some data from there fella for the new 2016 vintage shop directory 8)

Not much up in Scotland, I'll put my address on - you wont be able to buy anything but I'll make you a nice cup of tea :D

Great idea but can't get it to work on my iPhone :(
Hi mate, if you download the google maps app it should work mate.

I have the app but get an 'unsupported link' when I try. 'Google maps cannot open this link'

Nice job!

I think its pretty cool to be able to see and purchase vintage Star Wars in person but of course if they are being sold by a dealer with the overheads of a bricks and mortar shop then they're unlikely to be ebay beating prices.

Now... if you could only add a map of all the little church hall jumble sales staffed by grannies that are selling vintage toys for pennies I would be very grateful!!! :D

What a fantastic idea! My suggestion is 'Vintage Britain', short, snappy it will get the punters in oh sorry I thought I was on the Apprentice ..
Wish I could add to your map locations in the North East but I can't think of any apart from Vectis I suppose?
