New Han Solo Film(s)

This might be a bit controversial but I don't want to see them producing the same things time and time again.

There is such a huge universe for them to work in I would quite like to see them explore different film styles and genres. Some could work, some may not but why not. I get episode 7, 8 and 9 will follow suite, and that is important, but as for the others why not keep it fresh.

I went to the rogue one panel in Anaheim and I am pretty excited by what I heard. I got the impression we are to get a gritty war film, based in the Star Wars universe. A lot of the production team have worked on films like black hawk down and saving private Ryan. That change in style has real potential, or at least I think it does, provided that's what they do.

Why not shoot the solo film like a western. It would have the potential to be a real stylish film. Many of the comic books have deviated from the style of the film with great success. A gang type film involving jabba the hutt? Yes please. Even if they dulled it down a little to make it more family friendly.

No matter what Disney produce in the next 20 years, we will always have the original films. I can enjoy them as much as I want till the day I die.

You know Disney made Pulp Fiction as well under a subsidiary company called Miramax?

This is a similar situation. The Force Awakens is made by Lucasfilm and Bad Robot.

I think this is toy forum Disguised as a Star Wars forum.

I could understand being cautious about big announcements like this, but to disregard it without seeing anything from it is ignorant.

With all due respect i think you are taking this too personally. Ive said many times before that im happy for people who are looking forward to the new movies, but there are some who have no interest.

My own belief is that they are going to saturate it so much that the original storyline will be long forgotten. However thats my own opinion and im not forcing it on anyone. However, i find it strange that you say that such people are 'pig ignorant' because of this. Im not going to pretend, i never wanted these films and to me they are not part of the SW universe i know so well BUT others will disagree and i accept that. Its no different to me disliking another future non SW release.

Peace bud, and i hope you enjoy the new movies.

Not Marvel related but Batman v Superman etc??? why??? they are swaying the ideas and innocence of these characters to people, especially kids.

There is no innocence to these characters. every marvel, DC character has been torn apart, sent to a different dimension, represented by someone else etc. The characters have had multiple timelines and restarts.. some have even changed sex. I would like to see more of the main characters get killed off so we can have films with an element of danger. DC/Marvel inspired reboots.

As for vs movies. I have a Tarzan v Predator comic book!!!

I'm hoping they make Marvel Zombies into a film. Utterly Hilarious.
