Other things I've noticed:

more difficult to spot which threads you haven't read
not as easy to differentiate signatures from posts
in pms the message colours box is unreadable
does it notify of edited messages?

This is just getting worse. I have a number 2 in brackets at the top if my SWF tab which I assume is something to do with the two notifications I apparently have. I have no idea why I would have notifications or how I actually find out what they are. When I click on the notifications thing all the txt overlpas and i've no idea WTF is going on.

Fantastic work edd and I feel I am on a new forum :shock:

I have 2 problems, not that I would sound like an angry old man but

2. In pm the message is unreadable

You can get to the notifications through your UCP. When I click notifications it displays fine. Using IE11. It gives me the options to view, read all or go to settings. When I go to setting it goes to UCP.

also has that dot always been in the logo or is it new?

No this is new - it was pointed out to me that some people read the old logo as 'sw fuk' and could be taken offensively, so the dot should clear that up.

still don't think the orange icon is obvious enough. Can the whole icon be highlighted? it wasn't the blue which made it less obvious

I really like it, but I do prefer the profile on the left of the post I do not think it works on the right. just my opinion.

Great work though mate.

I have just found another problem

White background in pm to the left there is 2 fields one called Message colours and the other one friends. White background is not good and makes it unreadable.

Obviously loads of work gone into this, big thanks for that.

I'm an old git and shy away from change, at first looked a bit daunting for a technophobe like me!
The quick links in menu has quelled my initial "sick in the mud" fears, and I will get used to it all.

I'm not a huge fan of change myself but this doesn't look terrible and I'm sure it'll just be a matter of time before everyone has forgotten what the old forum even looked like (same thing happened on RS too a little while back).

At least Edd is around to change things to suit users preferences and fix things that aren't quite working at the moment.
