Hi everyone just got a new falcon sealed in boxed, do you know are there many of these about over this way?

Hi thanks its the old one. Had one of the early 80s falcons as a child with figures. Now I am on my quest to replace all I had when young with new. I have a few graded figures here as well. Luke farm boy, and han, have a lot of carded figures near mint.
I have all my originals still here too, wife thinks am mad!

OK no prob i will try and get a few pics up 2mor not the best on these pads. Its RTJ box which its in. Not sure weather to build her up for display or leave sealed? I know once opened that's it! what do you think?

Hello, and congrats on scoring a sealed Falcon. They are rare and usually many orders of magnitude more expensive / valuable than unsealed. Did you buy it on Ebay or luck into it?

The obvious danger in sealed items, for a new collector, is that unscrupulous sellers could 'reseal' a box (same goes for carded figures too). But if you're not sure then you can always post a pic on here (try and get a close up of the tape seal) and experienced collectors are always happy to chime in.

Ok guys thanks she won't be opened. That's a good idea about the pictures so you can check was everything resealed. Which parts will I take a picture off? The tape is rotten on one side I can take pictures of the ship and parts they are all still sealed. You guys could check if it's for real.
Let me know and I will go get her.

Hello there, if the tape has dried off and you can actually open the box to get at the toy, then in terminology that wouldn't be a 'sealed' item anymore it would be described as NRFB which stands for 'never removed from box'. Still a great item but quite a big difference in value from an actual sealed example.

OK thanks sorry about that guys I am no expert on these figures but like everyone I know the movies inside out. I am not really worried about its value I am just hoping its not a fake. Is there any way you will know if its fake by the stickers or parts in bags? I will try to get some pics up in next 2 hrs.
I now know I shouldn't have listed sealed with rotten tape on box sorry about that.
