Hi all,
I'm Onzadog from the East Midlands. I wouldn't call myself a collector by any stretch of the imagination. I'm more one of those people who never threw any of their toys away from when they were a kid. (born in '74 so I guess I was playing with this stuff during it's peak).
As a kid, it was my gran who really fuelled my passion for star wars. To the point where she's always have an old card back in her handbag so she could have an up to date list of which figures I did and didn't have.
Unfortunately, I lost my gran a couple of years back and since emptying all the stuff from her house, I've had all my old star wars toys in my garage. I've not got a a lot of space and the wife's nagging for me to clear some stuff out. I don't really want to though. All the stuff is used and a little dusty now. If by some chance, I've got something of interest, I'd be happy to pass it on so someone else could get some pleasure from it though as I doubt I'll ever have the time to sit and ply with it again.
First thing I'm curious about is my collection of Star Wars Fact Files. All 140 issues in binders. Certainly not mint, a bit dusty and that but all there. Is it fair to say, as it's quite recent, hat it's never going to rocket in value and clear my mortgage? Didn't think so. If that's the case, is there likely to be a good home for it anywhere? Seems a shame to drop it off at the tip.
Thanks or reading, hopefully, you guys will be reasonably gentle on a noob.
