I find peoples opinions on the films outside the origional trilogy funny I mean if your so sure on whats right go and make your own film. The same stuff get's said it's so predictable and entertaining. :?

the real test will be if they start bringing out amazing figures/ships for Episode VII......some of us might have to bite the bullet even though they aren't vintage!

Just noticed the two trooper helmets have slight differences. The second more recent pic has the round black parts at the front, similar to the vintage design. Really liking them + the snow/sandtrooper. Would still hope to see some of the originals knocking around too though.

I'm fed up of looking at ather fans opinions on the the films like your all film critics. Yeah it is a forum for people to share there opinions which is what I'm doing if you don't like it tuff. But most the comments are predictable. It's like your minde's are already made up about the new film. Cheerio.

I think you'll find most people are super excited for the new film. The fault is that this thread has been posted in the vintage collecting section which attracts a strange breed.

Am i keen on the new films?? No.
Do i like the new Stormtrooper helmet?? No.
Do i have a 6 year old son who will want me to take him to the new trilogy?? Yes
Seriously, i felt really down when the announcement about the new films was made. A lot of it was because i knew Disney would see it as a cash cow, but...the biggest reason is that im a vintage unaltered OT purist, who hates seeing the SW i remember tarnished. However i know people do want the films and i respect that. I have fond memories of my youth with SW and i couldnt really give a feck if we see Star Wars Episode 37 in my lifetime. Im still able to look back in time and watch those three magical films in my own little space whenever i want. I probably will go see them for Sonnys sake, and thats the only reason i will. I suppose i just have to blank it out like i do with the PT-especially AOTC.

Hmm :? when placed alongside the old helmets it's not looking so hot. Really have to see the film to know for sure. I just hope there's something left to see after all the spoilers. There's just no avoiding them. This new Stormie helmet is all over the bloody internet.
Have to agree with the 'grumpy bastard' post in many ways. I do want to see the new films but ironically cannot say that i'm as excited as when Phantom of the Menace was due for release. The most we had back then were magazine articles and a few trailers. A long time ago in a galaxy not far from the internet
