Hi mates,

I have an AT-ST with 2 legs which have burn marks, so I ordered some spare parts on eBay and they arrived today. I have totally disassembled it (loosened all the screws) and then it went *BANG*. Don't know if anybody of you has ever disassembled an AT-ST but there are 2 springs in it and they are real tight, so everything went flying through the kitchen. I (HOPE) that I have found all parts, but I don't know hat to re-assemble them. The legs in the interior mechanics of these are no problem, but there's a strange shaped pipe thingy that I don't know how and where to put. I already googled alot and found much, but nothing that was of help... (Mainly I found a lot on the LEGO AT-ST! *DOH*)

So if anybody could help me, please do.

P.S.: Bummer: After I had disassembled it completely I realized that this was not necessary to exchange the legs, which was all that I really wanted to do. :-/
P.P.S.: PLEASE HELP! :D

First everybody laughs about my avatar, now about my misery! :D

You should have seen how I just got it re-assembled, well ... to be honest it was me together with my girlfriend ... if I had it filmed and uploaded to youtube, that would have been something to REALLY laugh about! :D

But: It's fully working again! :) Once I understood the mechanism it was kind of easy. :)

You will have to take it all apart again & photograph the re assembling in stages so you can add it to the how 2 thread ;)

Glad you got it sorted, now if you had asked how to break something I could have been more help

Dis-assembling it WAS the easy part ... took me only seconds ... but like 30-60 minutes to get it back together.

I agree: A how to would be great for anybody who ends up in the same misery. But honestly: I will NEVER open that bas*ard again! :D
