Nail polish on figure

Hi everyone I have a Boba Fett figure that someone put nail polish on all the original paint. I was wondering if any of you know how to get rid of it without damaging the original paint. Thanks in advance.

Not much else than go very gently with nail varnish remover. Sounds obvious but go careful with a cotton bud.
