My POTF pre production focus

I've picked up a new piece for this focus so thought I'd share the photo's of the complete run so far.

First Shot Romba: Figure and hood molded in non production colours (production figure on left)

First Shot Imperial Gunner: Unpainted and lacking copyright markings on back of leg (production figure on right)

First Shot Anakin Skywalker: Figure molded in non production colours and lacking copyright markings on back of leg (production figure on right)

Pre Production Sample Warok: Arrow quiver, hood and bow molded in non production colours (production figure on left)

First Shot Lando General Pink Cape & First Shot Lando Blue Cape: Non production colour sample capes and lacking copyright markings on back of leg (production figure on right)

First Shot A-Wing Pilot: Helmet straps painted light brown and lacking copyright markings on back of leg (production figure on right)

Even though R5 is my favourite character and figure I do agree with you. My primary interest has always been collecting figural prototypes but unfortunately there's no R5 stuff out there.

Just wanted to add a couple of cool photos of my Lando General first shot photo sample. This was the actual figure with purple / blue cape that featured in the 1985 Kenner toy fair catalogue and on the unproduced POTF 93 back card.

Like that blue/purple cape.... clearly not replication the screen imagery in anyway, but it feels like a Lando signature in a way, when you think of his Cloud City outfit too being in blues and greys.

Yeah the blue/purple is a lot closer to the on screen version. Goodness knows why they changed it to the crappy purple/brown colour

Also strange that he was photographed with a light grey Luke Jedi palace blaster there is even wax in his hand where it was held in place - which doesn't surprise anyone who has tried to put a palace blaster in Lando's hand

Unfortunately the blaster is long gone. No doubt it was wrongly paired up with a Luke Jedi photo sample when they were all sold off.
