Hey all,
I have small side focus since a while now and I think it is time to share it.
As the Playmo R2 is pretty much comon in a lot of Star Wars collections I think this might be interesting.
Say hi to the gang:
wtf....yeah...it's "this guy" again  .....I can't help, I am a variant collector all over!
But you have to love this little R2-D2 knock-off produced by Geobra Brandstätter/Playmobil in 1980. 8) 8) 8) Am I wrong??
For the Playmospace line this robot was produced in several countries from several factories. Thanks to Walkie (Stef) we know that the Playmobil figures were produced by TROL in Brazil, Estrella in Brazil, Antex in Argentina, Famosa in Spain, Lyra in Greek, Mattel in the USA and of course by Geobra Brandstätter in Germany. So we can find several variations on mold, stickers and colors. It has become a little army by now, but there is still some missing.
If you want more pictures or read a (really) roughly describtion on all those please check out my limelight section on the Variant Villain:

Thanks for looking. Hope you enjoyed it
