Here's a focus I completed a few years ago - The first 10 ESB Characters MOC on every Palitoy ESB card - 30a, 30b, 41, 45a and 45b. Took me around 16 years to complete

Thanks guys

Was an interesting set to attempt. When I started in 2004, 7 out of the 50 were not known to exist and of the remaining 43, 9 had not been seen as sealed examples. So was not sure a full set was even possible/achievable!

Absolutely phenomenal. I have about 60 MOCs and apart from ROTJ ...no palitoys. I will get one...would love 50 though. Congrats. Out of interest where was your top 2 sources? Ebay/ vectis?

Thanks. The top source was other collectors, which accounts for over half. Ebay was next.

Just a heads up to all Palitoy fans (hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread, Jason!): I've noticed this documentary appear on my YouTube feed today, released yesterday. I haven't had chance to watch it yet, hopefully it makes for good viewing:

The Silent Toy Factory: How Britain's Palitoy Empire Faded Away

That like most of your runs is beyond insane Gary, dedication of the highest level, but so worth the wait, 16 years is some going, it's becoming the same with baggies, something that used to be a lot easier, but I've finally filled a 15 pack & that alone has taken me over 5 years.

It's quite an incredible sight, a wall of pure Palitoy goodness, your miss card run is daunting though, I really do like those, I wonder just how many undocumented combinations there are for them as new ones do still pop up now & again.
