Jay those dogs are stunning mate. My bird used to have a boxer called Dug that looked very similar to your brown one.

Cheers.

Grant.

Cheers for the comments guys. I walk Kaede 2 times a day everyday minimum to keep her in shape.

The pup Dexter is a frigging Piss machine at the moment I cant get a minute to browse ebay let alone do any work today :)

Slim i haven't seen your dog pic's what thread are they in?

Does it have stiff limbs? Any paint wear?

Still Limbs no paint wear Emiel. Easy an AFA 90 maybe even higher. I bet the AFA would throw him in an acrylic case if there was some cash in it for them lol

Nice dog mate. Bitch or dog? You planning to breed them?

Dexter the white puppy is male and Kaede (red and black) is female.

I wont bread them as i couldn't bear to see the pup's leave. They are purely family pets and actually make good guard dogs as they are very protective of the home and family.

He still has a tail. Is it coming off? Boxer's are fantastic looking dogs(even with their ran into the wall faces  )

The UK made tail docking illegal 2 years ago James. **** knows why Kaede my 4 year old bitch is docked but it seems Dexter will have to have a tail.

I love the boxer face they are just so cute! They are actually very clever but at the same time daft as brushes. Mind they need to be trained by somebody who knows what they are doing or they will run rings around you lol.

Cool.

You contacted AFA about grading them? You know they would do it for a few quid/Dollars!

saw 3 rottweiler pups this morning at portrush and all 3 had cut tails ! so you can still get it done ! i wonder could the police question you if they seen your pup had his tail cut off ??

Its not illegal in Northern Ireland and Ireland Slim only England, Wales and Scotland have banned tail docking. Many people in England are getting the pup's from N.I to by pass this but it still a problem because the vast majority of vets and insurance companies wont touch them. The only way you can get the tail docked is if its a working dog or for medical reasons :(

Why would anyone want to cut off a dog's tail?

Just looked it up, in ye olden times it was thought to prevent all sorts of back pain and infections for hunting/working dogs etc but in modern times its pretty much just to look better for shows etc :?

Cool dog though Jay, please leave its tail on lol

Pedigree dogs are bred for certain traits. Rottweilers and Boxers for example don't look like any wild dog ancestor!! One downfall to all the in-breeding is tails that serve no purpose(ie balance or turning) and are quite often deformed so should be docked IMO. Another downfall to purebreeds can be health problems(bad hips, breathing problems etc.) generally caused by bad breeders. That's why I prefer cross breeds, both mine are just like me- purebred mongrels :)
