Here is my holy grail. Took me years to find and had to go to Paris to get it. Have since got it graded and it got 85.

Yea, it was though someone i have dealt with in France before and then a friend of a friend knew of one, so took the risk and went over to Paris to meet up with them.

Very nice George! 8)

Can't have been cheap!
You focus on tri-logos or is it just a card/figure you always wanted?

George how many tri-logos do you have now. If thats your holy grail. Whats your new holy grail going to be

I have a full collection of tri logos plus the variants so i suppose the new holy grail would be a tri logo hammerhead afa 85 ( not a great holy grail though)

You must have been nervous about it going in the post to and from the US without it getting damaged !!

wow!

Excellent score George, any idea how many of the tri-madines exist?

It was the only afa 85 at the time but the population report still hasnt been updated so not sure as of yet.

I noticed that. I guess it will be done later today, depending on what part of the States AFA are in, probably mid afternoon. Hopefully anyway!

Yea just saw that, thought there would have been more graded even for a rare figure

Hello George- what an amazing addition to your collection. I'm sure you are delighted!! I too collect Trilogos- very addictive (unfortunately!). I now have 71- only 13 regular ones to go!!!! By the way my fellow collector from Northern Ireland Darren McAleese also has an AFA 85 Madine! Regards Gary.

nothing wrong with an old thread... especially as it starts off with a Madine Ti-Logo! :o

Wow thanks mate for sharing this, I love this old threads. It looks fantastic, I would be happy if I only had the cardback  Any what did happen to george, looks like it has been 10 years since he was on the forum :?

That's a true grail for some and I wonder if anyone you;d risk sending something like this off for grading any more, maybe a bit too much of a risk with these bubbles.

Ian

That's a super example and many congrats ur efforts paid off!
Did u go AFA, UKG or CAS :?:
