"My Helmet is stuck" - why ?

Excuse the stupidly juvenal title

Curious as to if anyone knows the reasoning behind the decision to mould Luke Poncho's helmet on.....( even that legit question raises a smile )

I was thinking, with too much time on my hands on holiday, that maybe it was a cost thing and no figure came with more than 3 detachable bits....but then I realised the Leia Endor one did...so why the shity effort for the Luke mould ? Was it actually just a cost cut or is there another reason why....

Luke endor is one of the biggest fails of the vintage line which is a shame cos the car back is wicked and it could have been one of the best lukes out there - leia endor is the best leia IMO.
I always thought the moulded helmet was some sort of coiffed mullet when I was a kid and it really pissed me off.

I've thought that it was because with his helmet off it would be too similar to Luke Jedi Knight without his cape on. Which would show how desperate they were to squeeze two Lukes into the POTF wave without repeating themselves.
