I've just spent the last half an hour searching through the Vintage Showcase section as I am sure I had a MOC limelight from 2014 but the only one i could find was from 2013 which hardly had anything in it.

Anyway, as I am selling my collection, I thought is was about time I took some up to date picture's of my collection as it stands now before they all end up in you collection's. :D I have had so much fun putting this collection together and have to say a huge thank you to a lot of you on here for helping get it to where it is now. Especially the man that is now over the pond, Mr Iain Sanderson.

I will be sad to see it all go but need's must and there is more important things going on at the moment that the funds can be put towards.

So, to start with my one and only SW card:

Next up my ESB cards:

Then ROTJ split over 2 pic's:

Tri-Logo's next:

Last of the main run, POTF:

Then side run of Droids:

And lastly Ewoks:

Enjoy the pic's. For those of you coming to the December Farthest From all of these will be on offer so bring plenty of cash.

That's a really super collection. You've assembled an excellent mix from 21 back through to Droids. I'm sure, when the time is right you'll come back to it.

Out of interest, if, out of all those MOCs you were going to keep one (assuming you haven't already!); which one would it be and why?

Amazing run Chris - and although you are parting with them then at least you can always look back on these pictures (and maybe the will inspire you to go again at some point!)

I do spot a few there - the Luke Stormie and the Droids & Ewoks spring to mind - was an absolute pleasure dealing with you and I hope the funds that you make will play some great significance in your plans for the future

Lovely collection 8)

You have no doubt had a great time sourcing these and been lucky enough to enjoy them and been a vintage custodian
I'm sure it will be tinged with sadness to let them go, but hats off to you as you have the sensible feet on the ground approach in regard to the value of things and how to balance life.

Genuinely wish you all the best and as long as you stick around on the forum happy days :D

In the years o come you can start all over again

All the best :D

Oh mate, what a treat for the eyes :D You blew my ROTJ showcase out of the water
I still think it's a huge shame your selling up :( But, knowing your reasons - I fully understand, and respect the fact it's being done for your family...

Wow! What a fab collection! :)

Where are you selling them? I would be interested in a few right now if you could give me prices ;)

Great run you have put together their, shame your selling but I'm sure your doing the right thing for yourself and family.

Great idea to make one last showcase before selling up. Looking forward to FF in December even more now too; so good to see these staying in the community and best of luck getting the most you can for them :D

Great collection. A bit of advice, I wouldn't bank on selling them all at one event, especially one as 'small' as FF. I took the remainder of my trilogos to Memorabilia to sell in 2009, about 20 of them, all very well priced. I didn't sell a single one over the three days. All anybody was interested in was my box of beaters. That's not to say you won't sell any, but there's a lot of fairly common MOCs there that would sell quickly here or on Facebook, but not at an event.

If you need the cash, sell them when the opportunity comes along, or you might regret it later.

Real shame to see you part with your collection Chris but I wish you all the best, great final limelight! Maybe I can give your Trilogo 8D8 a new home if it's still available at FF (And I make it!)

Oh and I love the casually placed POTF Nikto :) that's worth some coin in today's market!

Great collection mate!

Aint that the truth, i bet whoever sold you that is wishing he'd held on to it (and the rest of his POTF, SW MOC's) for a bit longer

Stunning collection Chris, sorry that you have to move it on.

Good luck with the sales, I hope you are able to shift it in good time and get a great price for it all :)

Nice one Chris. They look great like that.
I bet you've had a few PMs by now.
Edd I discussed the pros and cons with Chris about a month or so ago.
The benefit of taking them to FF is people can see them in hand, no worries about postage & packaging, stuff getting damaged in transit etc.
What sells sells, what's left will get put on the forum, Facebook and then eBay probably in that order.
Best of luck Chris mate. I know you'll stick around though ;)

Guys thanks for all your nice comments. I am pretty sure quite a few of you will have some of these in your collection's in a few month's time. Will be great to see a lot of it go to you guys.

Totally agree with you Edd. I am taking them all to FF as I want to have the experience of selling these on face to face, the buzz and that one to one sale. Totally agree they wont all go and im not expecting them to. If I sell 10 I will be happy.

  Bit like the casually placed VCJ that you see in a lot of loose sale picture's. This is 100% the real thing though. :D

Thanks Jez, I've been meaning to do this for ages, shame it's as I'm selling up I get it done but at least I have some pic's of them all.
I'll be sticking around for a long time yet, no getting rid of me that easily!!! :D

Glad you liked him, fingers crossed you get a great price for him.

Agree with everything that has been here Chris, and its an honourable thing you are doing. I would say to anyone tapping Chris up, just get your arse down to farthest from. You will get something you want from this collection, and maybe take this as a lesson that there are more ways to collect then throwing cash around Facebook.

Now, that rant wasn't aimed at anyone in particular. Just a grumpy (young, handsome) man moaning about the cost of bread so to speak.

After all that, I would say the POTF Nikto will take the right buyer, so that is the one exception to the rule. A premium piece is sold in a distinctively different way.

Good luck Chris.

Totally agree, there are about 4-5 I'd love to own, but I'm very happy to wait and join the queue on the 13th December and see these go at the listed prices on the day... fingers crossed I get there early enough! :D
