My collection

Hello mate,

Welcome aboard. Clearly you're the same age as me (I'm 44) as I had all those computer games and still have loads in my loft. I Love the Sinclair displays.

I still have my boxed ZX Spectrum 48k and Commodore 64. I've since added a mint boxed Spectrum+ to the collection. At some point I'm looking to buy an Amiga Batman pack boxed. Loved those computers, I actually cite them as the reason I sold my Star Wars toys back in the day.

I had all those games in your display but regrettably sold quite a few relatively recently including my Ultimate games e.g. Pentagram, Knight Lore, Alien 8, Underwurlde etc.

Favourite 8 bit games of all time: Lords of Midnight and Doomdarks Revenge. Only recently deposed as favourite game ever by the Darks Souls games.

Andy

Amiga Batman pack.. OMG, forgot I even owned that till just reading this post.. Dear Lord, I really should have taken it easier at Uni! I bought it at a Computer show at somewhere like Olympia in London now I think about it... great machine!

It was awesome. Bought December '89 with my first monthly pay packet. Came with FA-18 Interceptor, Batman the Movie game and The New Zealand Story. :D

Liking the spectrum display, I never even thought about displaying mine. I have loads of games, the interface 1&2 and almost all the rom drive games for the interface 2 all in their original boxes. Sadly it is all boxed away in a cupboard as I sometimes play a Spectrum emulator for the pc. I want to get a boxed Amiga 600 and some games for it at some point too, happy memories playing them for rndless hours :D

Loved Bloodborne, played it to death when it came out, in fact I bought a PS4 just for it, I also have and Xbox One. Will take a few days off for Dark Souls 3. Demon Souls never gripped me. I must admit I tend not to play online multiplayer stuff these days. I used to play Counterstrike Source a lot and was in a couple of clans but much prefer the single player games. These youngsters are too darn quick for me these days. I can barely hold my own.
Will look you up when I get a chance.

Very nice display mate 8) Star Wars + Action Force + Speccy = 8) 8) 8)

Used to love the Ultimate games myself ;)

Just an update with my new cabinets, I have spent all morning setting them up before I go to work. I am really pleased with them, they are a steal for £40 each from IKEA. Also my shelf with some superb cases bought from Christian and my new arrival, a diecast Slave 1 for £2, missing the cockpit cover if anyone has a spare

Great looking collection and some very nice pieces. I have my loose in a Bertby too - best shelves ever for loose and a real shame IKEA stopped them

Love the Spectrum display too. It reminds me I've a box of games in the garage I need to sort through
