Welcome to the forum Jimmy.

I skated for about 4 years at abut the same time as Grant, it was all I used to do. I wuld even
take my deck n holiday with mum and dad.

My first deck was a Santa Cruz Roy Royskopp which is the one with the screaming face hanging
on your wall!!

Grant I was well int New Deal aswell, remember Alex Mole?? Street Skater around that time.

I culdn't skate ramp, but I was ok on street, 360 Kickflips, pop shove its....ahh those were the days

Burnsy,

Another veteran skater. I can 100% say that I dont miss hopping about on one leg every where for 3 weeks from landing a board wrong and going over the ankles which tends to happen when your trying to learn new tricks.

I never owned a Santa Cruz mate but the art was beautiful on them.

I used to love skating, I got a board from my local skate shop just after I left school and used it almost every day for 2 years, I was only street skating and it was my means of transport from 18-20 really :D

I one night got very drunk and tried to jump off a pavement over a piece of wood and onto the other side, needless to say I hit the wood went straight over the board and hit the floor face first.

I had to take out my eyebrow piercing as I had dirt and grit stuck in the wound in my face and it all got infected...

I don't think after that night I ever stood on a board again

Amazing collection Jimmy, some of those boards look antique 8) - what's the oldest one there?

ive got two of those little skateboards that are still set up with iron wheels those date back to the end of the '50 begining of the '60

I could well believe it!
I suppose you use your son's stromtropper helmet as well just to make it a bit more difficult?

That was awesome mate. 8) I wasnt that good but I could some of those flips and I had no problem with low hand rails that were easy to dismount from.
