No that i have to explain but i thought i would.

I have just bought a house - got the keys last friday. To ensure i had enough for the £60K deposit i had to sell my car, cash in all of my premium bonds and use up all of my savings. It turned out that i had a touch extra left after it went through and i bought these "few extra peices" over the weekend.

Ifelt guilty dropping out at the last minute but thats life.

Steve's attitude has really pissed me off on this one. All he had to say was money's tight, sorry if I've inconvenienced you - how much cash are you out?

I probably would have said don't worry about it - luckily my new secret santa wasn't too picky about what they wanted

I thought i would send a message rather than retaliate on the boards.

at the end of the day i had to make a choice and everything had to go on hold for a while.

As my PM has said - if you are out of pocket i will discuss it with you and have offered to give you my mobile and email to discuss.

If all you want to do is slag some one off on the boards for something that i have already apologised for then please go ahead.

And at least i can discuss things without swearing. 8)

Bollux - its your right to swear and most of the time i find the relaxed attitude on the boards quite funny.

What i dont appreciate is some one calling me something which i feel is not deserved. But anyway there is not a lot else i can do now apart from apologising on here.

I am truly sorry for not participating in the 2008 secret santa. My reasons are as i mentioned in one of my previous posts and the message i have sent to spoons. I have also told spoons that if he is out of pocket i will discuss it with him.

If anyone has any other suggestions as to what i can do then please feel free to PM me. I would rather keep this off of this thread as this is supposed to be liemlight.

New cabinets arrived and partly built. Looking forward tot he next few days when i can get them complete and filled with my chewie collection.

The new house is cool. I have spent most of my time (and money) gettingt he cinema set up. Onc this was done and after a few drunk weekend watching the 6 nations on the big screen i got round to sorting out the collection.

I came across an online company which was selling some retail display units at really good prices and i was lucky to have some money leftover to purchase them. Had a long weekend and long night tonight getting themm built and square. Finally got round to getting some of the collection in them and i must say i am really happy with the overall look. I will be happier when i have the display complete.

I whole heartedly intend to watch ANH on friday so i can mix my SW obsession with my new home cinema.

Spoons - thanks for the comments mate. It has been a long time sorting this out. Moving house twice in the last 6 months (into and out of a rental place) and finally buying my own house again with enough room to be able to display the collection like this.

I hope to spend a bit more time over the next few nights getting more of the collection out of storage and displayed in the remaining space.

Dont intend to buy anything new for a while whilst i pay off a debt or 2.

It's the way a collection should be kept, just wish i had the room to display my collection like that.

Thanks for all of the comments guys. I have just finished putting a bit more of the collectio in. It is really starting to come together.

I need to order some tiered risers for my loose stuff and hopefully i can post pics of the completed display in a few weeks,.

i love the way it looks and spent quite a bit of time organising it. But still not 100% satisfied with the outcome.

As mentioned in my message to you i am hoping to get 2 more risers from oscar in the near future and this will allow me to spread the loose collection around a bit and add a few more variations in the near future.
