My Amateur Jawa Focus Collection (update 10/04/14)

UTINI!!
Blimy! What a cracking collection, absolutely stunning.
I am in awe

Such a cracking focus you have there, still can't believe how little time has gone by since you first started collecting these, truly amazing!

Here's to the next additions to the collection

Thanks everyone for their comments. Not a lot to update unfortunately as the key pieces I am missing is nigh on impossible to find. I have added a AFA graded loose Lili Ledy Jawa with removable hood, a few fun Mexican soft rubber bootlegs and THE FAKE!!

Hopefully 2014 will bring me some of the super rare pieces. Anyone with any contact LMK!!

Happy New Year!!
Simon

Got a question for you. I'm not trolling here I promise, but why the fake. That collection oozes quality and if it were mine I couldn't bear to have that thing within a million miles of the vintage stuff.

The focus is awesome by the way. Love the foreign card backs.

"The Fake" was something I got before getting the real thing. I wanted to know what was the big deal with a VCJ, so before I spent a small car sum of money for the real thing I needed something to compare against and also because I was new that acted as a baseline for getting a real loose VCJ. Now I can hopefully spot a fake from a mile away but that wasn't the case 6 months ago. I put the picture in the Showcase for a little bit of fun. I can also post lots of the ESB and ROTJ card variations but they get a little boring. Hopefully I will have some exciting stuff this year.

Sounds like a great idea to buy the fake first so when you buy the real one you don't get tricked

Here I am back again saying how great your collection is!
The graded sand crawler and GG are fantastic, I didn't realise that they did both Jawas, wonderful stuff.

8) what a beautiful set . such quality . another case of less being more

Your collection is stunning! I love the super-mint tri-logo jawa, and looking forward to see this limelight grow!

Congratulations, what a fantastic focus to date, truly stunning, 8)

I don't own a jawa MOC of any description, one day, but in the interim I can join with everyone else in viewing your fantastic run, and of course Nicks crackers.

Thanks for sharing :D

I think it's time to loose the "amateur" part from the title and replace it with "top quality" :D
Really like the diversity of the carded stuff, gives a nice view of how the jawa made it's way around the globe.
What's your favourite piece so far ?
