Multiple same loose figure collecting

I have to say the Jawa focus is appealing and beautifully displayed Nick even if I have to tilt my head to see them. Like I said, I can understand hundreds of Jawas as they're not individual characters. Hundreds of Nien Nunb's hmmmm

I don't get it. I collect variants of each figure but multiples of the same one just leaves me baffled.

Think Nick pretty much summed things up, when you can't find or afford something you would really like you have the opportunity to add a little something to make you smile & keep things rolling with the collection if you are a figure focus guy & collect loose, my own focus figure makes even less sense to many than other figures as there are only 2 coo variation & 2 mold variation, but I love my little blue boxes dearly & I think I spend more time looking at my PD cabinet than I do the rest of my loose run, always raises a smile, I never managed to get a PD as a child, just could not find one either here or in Germany where I spent my summers, so was so nice to get one as an adult collector & it just sort of carried on from one to 2 to many & I doubt it will end any time soon, just added twice as many shelves to one of my display cabinets to accommodate the army  which also makes them display better IMO,still a shelf & a bit of free space, but already have the next display ready to go :p

I do think there is something quite magical seeing so many jawa together in one place or power droids for that matter, more like a piece of art, I could see them displayed in the Turner Prize, far better than a lot of the rubbish you see entered for that sometimes :)

I bought two logray figures just this week, to add the small army I already have. I don't need them but I love the numerous colour variations, I can't think of any one figure that is as varied. Plus I think its a cool figure with its 3 x accessories and its relatively cheap for an unemployed guy like me. I also own a lot of Gamorrean guards and I think I'm going to army build Weequay and Klaatu too.

I think multiples look good on display, worth doing if you can. I've got quite a few jawas, not as many as above though, very impressive!

I've got 97 Fetts and another on the way. There's just something about having an army of a single character that draws me in.
