Hi all i haven't seen much on this series and just thought i would start a new topic based on this series and to start some questions before i buy. One are they worth collecting And two does anyone on here have a favorite Movie heroes figure.

In one word

No.

The majority of were over produced and rereleased figures.

A few of the Clone Troopers are worth picking up along with Ashoka Tano but on the whole the series doesnt sell well/

But if you like the look of them by all means buy them. This is just my opinion

No i agree with you Dark Sith Lord ive had a fascination with troopers for years and a few figures such as darth maul and obviously boba fett. I may buy a few memorable ones from different films but i think potf and the black series may be my best bet.

Not a fan of this line myself...

Old lines in cheap packaging IMO, this line missed the mark in so many ways and represents everything bad about the modern lines.

I am sure the figures are OK once released from the Primark packaging but why bother with this when the Black Series is about and the Vintage Collection is still on some shelves too.

JuniorChubb yea the packaging looks bad and ive had a look at some of the figures, horrible paintjob. My only problem with the black series is the price i mean on amazon and ebay they vary from £25-£40 and i know toys r us have them for cheaper but i unfortunately dont have a toys are us.

Have you tried the Toys R Us website?

3 3/4 inch Black series for under a tenner and 6 inch Black series for just over £20.

I know its nicer to pick up modern stuff by hand so hopefully you find somewhere local that stock the Black Series.

As Liam said though, go for what suits you best and what you feel comfortable collecting.

JuniorChubb i was just looking at them online i managed to bribe my way for a trip to a toys r us on Thursday so i will definitely pick up a good selection of the 6" and some other series figures if i can. Also thanks alot you guys for helping me and giving me a warm welcome so to speak.
