More Advice Than A Valuation

So I've come to the conclusion that I would like to have a few different cards in my collection. Already have mainly Tri Logos, a couple of ESB Kenners and a Meccano Star Wars. What I really fancy at the minute is something, preferably a MOC, with the Palitoy logo on the front. I know they carry a premium over the Kenner cards and as has been mentioned elsewhere there is no hard and fast rule like all cards have a 50% premium for example.

What I would like to know is there any card that it really makes no difference and can be found for under a ton?

Any suggestions would be greatly received.

Some of the later issued smaller logo ones are much cheaper, if you want anything with the large log you'll have to up the ante considerably IMO, FYI I paid 450 for my power droid almost 2 years ago & I have seen it going for more than double that now

If you go for a less popular character (not the first 21) you may luck in, but as will all things condition comes into the mix a lot, say if you don't mind one with a cracked bubble, the price will come down a hell of a lot.

Cheapest I found on ebay sold items was this hammer head, but cut name plate & cut under the bubble, but stupid cheap -

The one that springs to mind is the Black Bespin Guard - this one seems to pop up ore regularly than most with the Pailtoy logo

Thanks both, I pretty much guessed it was going to be a lesser character, which most of my collection is to date and patience is a must with budgetary restraints of a normal guy in a normal job. I do pull the trigger as often as possible but have only gone over £50 for 3 cards so far.

Second what Iain says. 45a black bespin guard. He has the palitoy bounty hunter offer on the front so is quite cool in that respect also.

If you want a big logo, bizarrely I think a 30 back lobot might be your best bet these days, condition dependant of course.

As above, van usually be found in good nick for around £80-120

Like Iain said, some of the 45a's go for sensible money - ATAT Commander, 4-LOM, BBG etc.

Sounds like there's a few good options out there and as Iain said "patience" is key.
