MOCs with figure holding weapon??

Just been looking on Ebay and there's a figure I quite like being sold as 100% sealed. The pop has been removed but the card isn't cut through so there's no hole in the front. Weird thing is that the figure is holding the gun. Looks genuine. Can't see where it's been resealed. Weird :?

I have a few reseals like that where the gun is being held, usually so it doesn't drop out of the card, but the figure has usually been taken out and put back in. Do any of the mint card collectors have any where the figure is holding the weapon?

I think that a lot of the earlier ESB cards have the figures holding their weapons

If you do a quick search of google images for ESB Walrusman then quite a lot of the pictures show the figure holding the weapon

Many figures can be found holding their weapon, especially the first release figures. I do believe that one holds his weapon carded as well.

The MOC Walrus Man I've got is holding the weapon.

I think the same applies to Greedo

that explains my Greedo as well 8) Got a Greedo 45 Kenner back recently and he is holding the weapon. The pop is missing and i just assumed that somehow he's been out the box ...through a very tight gap :?

I had the same query only last week which Jason was able to answer: his 12 back MOC Stormtrooper is still firmly holding his blaster after some 35 years. As he glibly put it: "he's got a firm grip." :lol:

The 12 Back Stormie, DSC and chewie are the 12 Back figures who have their weapons in their hand, whilst Jawa, Han Solo and Leia blasters where taped to the side of the bubble.

For the 20/21 Backs, all figures wich came with a blaster, had their blaster in their hand instead of taped to the bubble (except for Boba Fett). These figures where: Greedo, Luke X-wing, Snaggletooth, Hammerhead, Walrusman
