Memories of the Empire Strikes Back wanted for my book.

I was 10 in 1980. On first viewing I couldn't understand why it was set in a forest and people were on horseback as horses didn't exist in SW. This was the short film shown beforehand (The Black Knight or whatever it was.)

Childhood memories of first viewing: being grossed out by the Tauntaun's intestines; TOTALLY in awe of the AT-ATs; bored by Dagobah; confused by the cave scene; very disappointed Luke and Han didn't get to hang out as buddies like in the first film; couldn't understand why Lando was easily forgiven when he was clearly a traitor; could not spot Slave 1 in all the junk; and at the end besides myself the film didn't end properly with everything neatly resolved. It was however absolutely awesome however and kept me coming back for any friends birthday outing or opportunity to see it over. In total I saw the film SIX times over the summer, and when not watching it totally lived the film with a diet of ice lollies, Dairylea, Candy heads, Panini stickers and most memorably recreating it all with every toy figure.
