Meccan Jawa

Hi All

Have a quick question - I have just got a Meccan Jawa through the post - it looks in great shape (that has set alarm bells going already) and the bubble is firmy stuck to the card and does not look like a reseal at all. However... there is no weapon inside the card. Is this something common with Meccano Jawa's - could it be a factory error or do you think I have just paid some money out for a fake?

I also got an Imperial Stormy from the same guy and it is also in great condition, I have compared it up against other cardbacks that I have and can not see any problems with it - I guess the fact it looks great has just got me worried.

I will sort out pics shortly but if someone knows about the Jawa weapon in the meantime that would be great.

My one had the weapon stuffed right up inside his cape. It's just barely visible.

Hmmmm - I will have to go and check - maybe give him a good shake ;-)

Found the little bugger - it was stuffed up his cape - have managed to get the top of the balster down so it now looks like my Jawa is in the process of having a baby Blaster !!

With the panic over and more checks done - I am pretty confident that they are the real deal - will post some pics on the new aquisitions page soon
