March Memorabilia Meet

I might be up for it, but I doubt if I could ditch the kids - there'd be murder if I went without them

Bollux, you're a glutton for punishment mate, secret santa and now this??

You organising the Summer Ball aswell?

Its no hassle mate, and it should be good fun!

Guys, join the fun, make a proper weekend of it rather than turning up, saying a quick hello and then wondering off and miss meeting other members.

Making a weekend of it has been something that has been going on for a good few years with a few dealers and the guys of the UK Garrison all staying together, the accomodation isn't the fanciest, but it is the cheap and the beer and food plentiful.

I see a lot of you at shows, some coming from a great many distance, and it would be good to have a beer or ten and share stories rather than have you pressured to rush around the show or get back before you get a parking ticket etc.

Wondering around by yourself and finding there's nothing you want is a pisser, but it is much more satisfying and rewarding to enjoy a show in good company, even if you end up buying nothing, at least you have a blast.

Dave.

wow, a week later and an overwhelming response :D

Come on guys, you were all hot for this after you missed the opportunity at the last show, is it going to be the same case again this time? Don't worry, we don't bite, so you'll be ok as long as you're up to date with your shots.

The tables are booked and I'm please to say that joining me for the coming show will be Lee Bullock, Gary Smith and Edd Grant, so all in all, it should be a 12 foot offering of vintage alone.

There are currently 7 of us staying, so if anyone wants to join the fun, just let me know :)

Dave.

Bit far for me to travel, especially as I am bone idle lazy!
Have a good one though guys!

I think more of you guys should get your asses in order and get down to this. This the best show for vintage in the UK and the social aspect of the hobby is 1/2 the fun.

I might be able to make it, whats the agenda? where do you guys stay ect.

Its a first for me so extra info would be appreciated :)

Andy

It sounds good but Money's tight at the mo, if the family let me off the leash I could be up for it in November - it's a better show anyway

Hope its a good one :)

i am definitely going but wont be around for the evenings drinks unfortunately, dragging a mate along and he draws the line at drinking with "nerds"
