A lot of these are hard to find ..if not impossible carded...so the price for these cardbacks makes sense. Plus the condition on these is
excellent.

Agreed, they are stupidly rare and I don't even think I've seen any of these actually carded except the Han Hoth and Greedo so going at todays rates for stuff I'm not at all surprised.

I saw a guy at CE2 selling a sealed fett for 15k, seems reasonable now with a 1k bid just for the cardback, would love the R5 & DSD, but think I'll just have to want at those kind of prices.

The seller rang me last Monday to tell he was astonished at the final prices reached by his card backs.
He was not the first owner and had no idea what they would be worth...
His PBP "Imperio contraataca..." Stormtrooper card sold at € 650+!!!...
I managed to win some cards and I think I'm going to eat potatoes for the next two years..

Although the Meccano ROTJ FX-7 card is quite rare, the equivalent square card would top, say, €500 to €600.
