Luke Farmboy collection,, New Photos

Loving the group shot of Luke cardbacks. Am going to be doing those runs with the first 12 characters, just need to fill a lot of holes in the Kenner runs.

Thanks for the advice on the Palitoy cards Hopefully pick up a few more soon. They are gsrd enough to get! Nice idea with the first 12 original figures. Would look cool as a run. You will probably need to sell some of your foreign cards to fund that :wink: :lol:

I think runs with just the original photos, which would cut out the trilogo and some of the kenners would look great.

Some great work there Jeff. Display is coming together very well! My personal favourite is you 12 back luke. I have no doubt you will be putting the money from your sales to good use!!! If I spot any interesting FB stuff I will be sure to let you know.

I'm hooked on the Popy's, Jeff :lol: I bought a couple of Erik myself- superb Japanese packaging and figures.

No worries, Deb- I didn't know what they were until I joined this forum

I'm no expert, but from my limited knowledge I can tell you that The Japanese toy company Takara had the license for the first wave of Star Wars figures, then when it came to The Empire Strikes Back, Popy took over the license releasing 15 figures in total in their unique packaging

Super ESB card. Love it. Which of the licensees had those extra 'black tabs' added to the bottom of the Empire logo? Was it Clipper?

I think it was Palitoy added it to the ESB cards. Clipper had the wrap around sticker if I'm thinking right.

Palitoy then had a smaller 'black tab' under the logo on ROTJ cards!

Have decided to update my layout
New ESB shelf: Popy figure and ESB card added.

New ROTJ shelf: Really like the two carded figures on this shelf!

I have decided to go ahead with a little 'foreign shelf'... I reckon the popy figure will have to move down here at some stage :lol: I plan on adding a couple more foreign card backs at some point. Currently have Clipper, Tri logo ad GDE cards.

Thanks Lars really appreciate those comments. I currently have my minty, black face paint, early bird and No COO, Brown hair figures on the way to UKG for grading. Will get up a group shot of my loose graded figures when they get back. I reckon it will look class, all the different hair colours etc.... 8)

Wow, thanks for all the positive comments, I'm absolutely chuffed with how this is turning out....one new addition hopefully arriving soon that I can't wait to display. It's an absolute beauty.... 8)
