Luke farm boy ??

Can you please tell me which is the rarer older Luke farm boy
Out there! I have seen some whith blonde & brown hair and light
And dark pants and just wanted to no which are the earlier ones?

Hi Jedi, I'm no Luke farmboy expert but I believe the earliest variation to be the early bird 2 line coo (G.M.F.G.I 1977 HONG KONG) tan pants blonde hair brown eyed variety below. Not sure on which is the rarest type I have seen the later type China coo's fetching more than the two link H.K's

James is right and the 2 line HK COO with brown face paint is the one found bagged with the DT saber, which was the first saber. These sabers are also found carded on 12 backs with 3 line HK COO's. Not sure which one came first though and I'd say they where probibly released around the same time, maybe 2 different factories.
The reason China COO's go for more IMO is because there always a lot whiter than the HK versions as they where ROTJ released I think, also think the Scar COO and Raised bars and the rarest Luke variants.

Yes some earlier ones do, the DT molds where altered and then used for the telescoping versions, as a result the letters stayed for a while.

I love that picture, they look awesome. There is also HK light brown and Orange hair, No COO with a raised bar, No COO with a scar and POCH? Probably slight pant and hair colour variants of each of those COO to, as there is with the HK COO's

Have you got a better picture, the saber looks like the tip has been stretched?

He has a couple of figs and a MF ROTJ. Driving up to look next weekkend

Just like the look of the Luke ...when you say stretched ??

I thought it might be DT but v much doubt that :!: :lol:

Just really wondered what I should be expecting to pay on the market for it so I have an idea what to offer

I'm pretty sure I saw this Luke on eBay and the description stated the tip had stretched. Can't remember how much it went for or if it was a buy it now.

He looks pretty white so maybe £15-20 if he has good paint as well, would cost £20-25 for a good saber I think.

The sabers got stretched by kids playing with them but also in the past some where stretched by some sellers to mimic a DT in a dodgy picture on ebay, sure I read that somewhere so be carefull
