I'm in need of some money fast so am considering selling my loose set. I don't have any photos to hand, but it's almost a full set with a few last 17. All are in pretty nice shape and most are complete, about 80 figures. See my wanted thread for a list of which figures and weapons I DON'T have:

http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2577

There are a few baggies and a few variations in there too (eg large and small head Han) and it comes with an unboxed but complete Jabba playset. I assume all of the weapons are original as I bought most of these figures in a lot from a respected guy on RS several years ago, but I'm no expert so will work something out if a few turn out ro be repros. I know that the first 12 are near mint and 100% original as I bought those separately.

So, assuming £6 per figure is fair (some will be worth considerably more, some a bit less) how does £500 for the lot sound? Not willing to split I'm afraid, don't have the time. PM me or reply here if you're interested.

OK Here's a photo:

As you can see the lot includes 2 baggies, 81 figures (4 last 17), about 60 Pro Tech cases, about 70 Pro Tech stands, and a complete Jabba playset (accessories are in his dungeon.) The few weapons I think that might ber repros are on the right hand side. Pretty sure that all in cases and along the bottom are real. I think that's a pretty good deal! :)

Do you think this lot is priced too high guys? Had no interest on here and one person 'possibly' interested on RS. I thought it was a good deal, but am no loose expert by any means!

Hi Ed

I have sold a lot of single figures lately and think that the £6.00 is reasonable - I think the problem is that a collection like this would only interest people like me who are prepared to integrate these figures into their own collection and then sell out the rest. I would have thought you would have more joy listing them as on ebay - maybe in batches of five or if you can take the time, individually. By offering a decent discount for multiple purchases you should get a fair degree of interest - split them over a couple of days and leave the Amanaman and the rest of the Last 17 to last and I think you'll easily get the £6.00 average if not a bit more.

If I had the spare cash then I would take them from you cos you have some nice lookinng pieces there.

Cheers Iain

p.s will be in tocuh asap re collecting the Falcon from you.

OK I'm now considering splitting up the more expensive figures and doing a cheaper lot for the more common ones to see if there's any takers. I have based my prices on Ebay averages rather than 'premium' RS prices as still after a quick sale.

Please note - I would still rather sell as one lot for £500, so may wait until a few items have sold before accepting payments. However this is NOT an auction, it is a first come, first served sale. Here's the individual prices, with payment via Paypal gift and shipping extra. I guarantee all of these are complete and have original weapons unless stated otherwise:

Jabba playset - £30
Imperial Dignitary (no paint rub on nose!) - £25
Amanaman - £45
Anakin baggie - £15
Leia Bouushh baggie - £12
Barada (no staff but it's a Nikto one so very common) - £20
Luke farmboy blonde hair - £25
Dark green Yoda - £30
White original Leia - £20
Small head Han (some paint wear) - £15
Luke X Wing (the nicer of the two) - £10
EVERYTHING ELSE (71 figures!!) - £300 as one lot

Please PM me with any interest.

Nice one Edd, I been so close to doing this myself to fund other purchases, I whittled down to the first 79 plus Blue Snag and the POTF Ewoks..

Glad you got a sale mate - food for thought for me as well ! LOL

Yes I really liked having them and would rather not have sold them, but there is never going to be a short supply of loose figures so they're definitely the most sensible things to sell to raise some cash IMO.
