Looking to donate toys!

Hello all,

I am on a quest to find collectors that may be interested in my random assortment of Star Wars toys. I had a lot in my childhood. Unfortunately some have not stood the test of time. I am wanting to get rid of them because I am not a collector but I don't want to just take them to the nearest dumpster.

I was wondering if it's worth trying to donate my collection someone or somewhere, because the toys are definitely not in mint condition and are missing some pieces.

I apologize if this is not the right forum. I'm not sure where I am supposed to post this. Any information would be appreciated!

Hi there

Having a look at your pics, you are right, there is not much of value there. I presume that your use of the word dumpster rather than bin means you are based in the States?

I would think that local childrens groups/orphanages or even charity shops would be interested in taking this lot from you and would give them a good home

Yes I am in the states. Is the board more for people in the UK? I guess I didn't realize that.

I am from the states. It is almost all modern and all of them are missing pieces. So I would donate them. The only thing that looks vintage may be the Imperial Shuttle (If it's not a FAO or Target re-issue). Even If it is vintage, it is a shell and probably worth the cost of shipping ($20).
