I cant recall the longest i have had to wait but i hate waiting over two weeks

on a diff subject took 5 weeks for ukgraders to grade my last item

would have been quicker to sent it to afa and back in that time plus cheaper if i had used the 7 day service...

needless to say next time if i ever get something graded again afa will get my custom

I've been pretty lucky really over the 100's of purchases i have made. The longest was about 4-5 weeks from the states. It normally only takes up to 2 weeks but on this particualr figure i was pretty anxious as it was a white molded leg 1st issue Han solo with black painted legs rather than moulded black. I saw it on ebay it was in very nice condition - it cost about a tenner including postage as i recall. These figs were selling for up to 50 quid at the time so after 3 weeks and still nothing i contacted the lady who assured me it had been posted. It eventually showed up to my relief and man he is in sweet condition. I am going to start limelighting my loose variants this weekend so might do the Han 1st issue first 8)

Nice story Lee, certainly gives me hope! If I knock the weekends off (normally nothing happening in any country with regards to post on the weekend) then it has been a total of 13 working days (mon-fri) the seller checked things with the post office and they confirmed it left the country not long after being sent.

I also checked with a fellow collector here in Romania AND checked the net for shipping times and of course its all perfectly acceptable and there is even talk of some things coming as late as 30 days.

I will stop worrying..................till next week :lol:

As a matter of interest Joe, are you fluent in Romanian?
Just wondering how you converse with your fellow Romanian collectors.

Not yet Weasel, I understand pretty much everything on a day to day basis but definitely far from fluent, getting there though!

It's a lot easier if you want to learn a new language to do so living in that country, as opposed to being taught etc.

And for what its worth the collector I spoke to speaks English

Defo Joe that's how i learn't Spanish actually living and working in Spain. 8)

Nothing to do with Star Wars but a few years ago bought a part for my motorbike from the UK £200. It was sent by Parcelfarce. They lost it. So the shop got refunded from them and they refunded me.
Anyway about 2 months later, came home from work and there was a calling card through my letterbox. Went to the depot and the parcel was given to me. BONUS :mrgreen:
