London Film and Comic Con this weekend

Not Star Wars specific but I am sure there will be plenty of SW merch at the stalls - at at least I am hoping there is as I finally have a morning free to make it a con for the first time in years... Going to combine it with a little promo work and chats for my own upcoming Graphic Novel launch, but mostly hoping to find some Revenge of the Sith bargains....

No bargains of any kind - in fact with the exception of 'All the Cool Stuff' at the back of the hall almost no SW toys for sale at all and ZERO Revenge of the Sith anywhere. There was a lightsaber stall, which looked cool, but the bulk of the 'stuff' for sale seemed to be Funko's and Pokecards and general 'nick-nack' sort of things. Obviously plenty of art and comics, which was cool. And My own GN got its first public sneak peak - which was nice, but overall not the best con I've ever been too.

There was talk that due to the writers strike all the studios who would normally be there (it was a film and comic con after all), passed this year as there is nothing new for them to shout about (which is why the artist and comic book creators were doing their signings in the middle of the hall as opposed to the edges or back).
