Had an update -

My mates Dad isn't quite geared up for taking sending pictures but they are going down to visit him during the Easter holidays so will bring it back then.

The guy has two lovely young sons so suggested he might want to pass them down to them instead of giving them to me but he was adamant they should go to a collector that will appreciate them - so I'm going to buy some modern SW toys for his boys as a thank you and help spread the love :D

Time and time again, you demonstrate the traits of a totally stand up guy. Gotta have a beer with you one day dude.

Jez

Coming from a guy that does so much for others/charity I'll take that as a real compliment
Cheers buddy - also looking forward to that beer someday :D

Here is my genuine loft find, dropped off last night :D

Everything is like brand new, he got these as gifts just as he stopped playing with toys so they are pretty much like new.
Forest Ranger, Tripod Cannon, Sail skiff and laser cannon

Lovely figures, no weapons or accessories but limbs are super stiff and paint is fantastic - honestly look and feel fresh off the card

Never had a Rancor as a kid so was over the moon with this guy - before I had a chance to play with him he was nabbed by my daughter for her new Rancor focus.

The modern Rancor is indeed wearing a dress - my wee quine used to drag him around Asda dressed like that when she was a toddler :D

Also got this guy - if anyone wants him give me a shout.

As I mentioned before I'm giving my mate's son some modern SW toys to play with but was so chuffed with this haul I've offered to work a day for him so he can have an extra day off to go do something nice with his boys.

Forget the big high profile shop finds that hit the headlines getting childhood toys from someone you know is such a great feeling and a real personal addition to your collection - haven't stopped smiling since I got them :D

Fantastic story and great to see it end so nicely, I honestly thought you'd end up with some beaters. Congrats matey.

Very nice they look in exceptional condition, the bottom guy is Frostbite from GI Joe/Action Force btw.

I have a feeling that is a Trilogo Fett as well - if so then that is worth a decent amount of cash at the moment - especially in that condition (there's a chap called Toni that might have a use for it as well)

Nice haul dude, knew there was a reason to have friends!...and agree with others that sure is a nice looking Boba.

Just got an update -
His folks don't live local (didn't even think to ask where)
His dad has send a description and is trying to sort out some pictures

8 loose figures
3 small vehicles - guessing mini rigs
1 big monster - guessing Wampa or Rancor (please be rancor)
Destructible vehicle/wespon - absolutely no idea?
Rare Boba Fett figure - pretty sure he's added that on to his Dads description to mess with me

My mate actually described him as "rare" I thought he was winding me up!
Delighted with everything I got - the Boba Fett is stunning, will try and take some decent pictures of him for latest acquisitions, definitely going to take pride of place in my loose figure collection.

Mr shifter my daughter is now 18 but she was only 3 when she dragged the Rancor round Asda, she got him and Baby Annabel for Xmas but bounded with the Rancor

Enjoying adding all these new pieces to my collection - it's great when new things have nice memories associated with them :D

Yeah, certain it is and it looks minty too.

Yep no coo (cheers Iain) on leg
Can't see a single paint rub, rock solid limbs and lovely light blue colour. Glad my mate was too old to play with him :D

Images I find of a Trilogo Fett show a black belt, but DB's seem to have the reddy brown belt of a Hong Kong Fett. :|

Overall, I think this story demonstrates the wonders that can happen in collecting to decent people. 8)

Nice

Tri fetts can be found with either colour belt
