Little bit of fun questions & answers post

Hi all

Sorry I know I have not been on much of late, keep trying to get back to doing more on the guide as well but time has been short of late, had all the children & grandchildren over the summer, 13 in the house including 7 kids as young as 4, so its all been a bit mental for me.

So I saw a great little post go up on one of the FB groups the other week, but as with all things on Fb is fizzled out rather quickly & I figured it would be a fun thread for on here & may do a little better if we can keep it rolling.

Should go like this, someone posts a question marked Q then you guys chime in with (hopefully) informative answers for the poster or a question of your own, & on & on & on please mark answers with the questioners username & A like this A @ (enter username)

I also feel it's a good way to draw some lurkers & new members into asking things they may feel are foolish or already covered & afraid to ask, so just a laid back way to ask those questions you have no matter how simple (or difficult) for everyone.

Questions can be about anything SW related, toy line/films pre production etc etc etc

I'll start the ball rolling with a nice simple one -

Q - who is the least loved character of all 6 films :lol: that one should not take long to answer eh

I'll take the obvious bait and say Jar Jar. However I would like to add that I think Lucas missed a trick, after the backlash in TPM he chose to sweep Jar Jar under the rug for Ep 2 and 3. Instead its my belief that it should have been Jar Jar that Anakin killed instead of the Younglings in Ep 3. The murder of his innocent childhood friend cementing his turn to the darkside. And also like Dobby dying in Harry Potter, it might even have elicited some sympathy for Jar Jar and partly redeemed the character. That's better storytelling imho.

Do I have to ask a question now?

Q. Okay, it's xmas and a single vintage item is under your tree - cost is no object but it can only be a single item. It's for you to keep, no flipping allowed. What do you choose?

A @ Bonsai_Tree_Ent - 16 figure multi pack, hell that one was even easier, though I have a sneaking suspicion that will not be the sole answer to your question.

Q - which figure(s) are known to have come with the metallic blue bespin blaster (which is commanding IMO stupid prices of late)

A@ Frank - No idea on the second question. Not a clue. The original question has to be Anakin. Sure everyone hates Jar Jar, but Anakin sucked right up to Jedi. Also Anakin was **** in all three none Darth forms. Young Anakin was perhaps the most hateful. Then Hayden was just a bellend. Then you have the ghost Anakin which is hated for two different reasons - firstly when they pissed around with the original, and then you have the original, which while not a terrible part in the movie, is up there with the worst figures in the line.


A@Bonsai - probably a 1977 Princess Leia. Not the figure mind. The actual Princess Leia from 1977, hairy 70's motty and all :lol:


Q - If the Star Wars universe was a real place which character would you most want to be?

Q - 2 - ( a very tough one which I have no idea about BTW) - how many cardbacks were available in total including harbert/palitoy/meccano etc, this is for all known production variation I.E SW/ESB/ROTJ/POTF/Tri logo - I wonder if anyone knows, must be a **** load

Q -3 - how many at at walkers were in ESB on Hoth

This is a great idea but I'm thinking some rules need to be clarified. I mean in 20 pages time how many questions will I have to answer? Just a bit overwhelming for me, to many hard questions. :lol:

Alright, alright I'll get involved. I don't like posting things when I have to use my brain. I can answer three questions, only because their is no right answer to any of them. :lol:

@Bonsai_Tree_Event If I could have one single thing under the Xmas tree would have to be a 21 back Boba Fett, my grail at the moment.

@Richard_H If the wife opened my parcel I would flip it around and have a go at her for opening my post. Then make out that I'm angry because I've treated her to something special as well and it could have been it. The quickly go on line and buy her a new handbag or something.

@x-pack If I could be any Star Wars caractor it would have to be a Sand Person so I could spending 10 years bumming Anakins mum. :lol:
