Ok, this might almost count as a variant question. It's definately as close as I'm gonna get to asking one anyway!

The auction above, HOW is that a Ledy?
It says "Kenner" on the card and the back isn't a Ledy back. Is the seller trying his luck just cos it was made in Mexico? :?

thats not even a mexican card. Its a US 77b.

If it was mexican but not a ledy, it would say made in mexico on the back

I am not saying that this is a lili ledy card but it is made in mexico and a ledy figure variant. This Logray figure is the dark stripes / hand painted LL variant without COO & date that also came inside the young jedi mailer.
I am a collector myself and do collect loose variants and mocs and know what I am talking about.

The Anakin offer sticker covers "made in mexico" & the hole to the back.

yes you can see it under the sticker and also from the front if you do look through the blister from the side.
It's 100% made in mexico as I sayed before... So why shouldnt I write LL in the title if a LL figure is inside? Especially due the fact that the figure is the expensive part here...

Fair enough.
Its just the only difference between the 77a and 77b cards is the big sticker on the back (and one on the front) which would cover up the details so without the hole, it would be hard to tell if it was not from the US
