ledy gam guards

bought a lil ledy gam guard moc and the back of the card has a hole punched in it , i have seen these before quite a bit and all punched in the same place but i cant for the life of me remind the exact reason :lol:

It lets smoke/gas out, created during the bubble sealing process.

Yeah i have 3 or 4 MIM Mocs and they all have the little pin-hole in the back.
