Latest Acquisitions

I am pretty happy with these two showing up. They spend 3 months in no-mans land - and by that I mean they were lost. Tracking was useless and they just gone. THEN, they showed up. The seller was fantastic - he always is - and we dealt with it like gentlemen. Its sad that so many times this aspect is lost in the hobby. It is more than just about money and toys. In any case, they are now safe in their new home!

Wow...what a great pair of Vader's, don't see those everyday!
I bet you and the seller were worried when these went missing, and for three months.
So pleased for you that they turned up, and that you had a good relationship with the seller.

Really nice pick ups, especially the Toltoys MOC. As they say, 'all good things come to those who wait'.

That must be a huge relief! Not only personally but for the community. There can't be too many Toltoy Vader MOC still knocking about. It's a shame when any vintage item is lost for good, but rarer MOCs really make a dent. Lovely MOCs!

Whoa - those Vader are so fantastic.
Delighted for you, that they showed up after all that time.
Just imagine that Toltoys MOC would have ended in a dumpster for lost parcels ...

Oh wow - that's better than expected Rob! Wasn't it advertised as a reseal? Perfect for the focus.

Some great pick up guys. :)

This arrived this morning to add to my mini R2 focus. Canadian R2 Sensorscope MOC. I will want to upgrade eventually to a near clear bubble (if anyone can help) but the bubble is perfect apart from that, as is the rest...

Nice piece, card looks vibrant!

I hate using the post especially with things that are very difficult to replace, if its in the UK I drive! Lovely 45A Vader looks like a 80 to me, Toltoys nice too, sounds like a stressful 3 months!

So glad, I finally could add the Chief Chirpa Palitoy 65back with dutch Clipper sticker and spanish PBP offer to my Chirpa focus collection.
Not the best condition and the bubble is cracked, but I don't care when the price is right.

What made me laugh was the note, the seller put on his StarCase:
"This toy was so unpopular, it didn't sell in the UK, Holland ..." :cheeky:

A new acquisition - a solid belly Tauntaun in the Kenner box, with Palitoy stickers. I still have my childhood Palitoy printed box version and am really pleased to add this variation, even though the box isn't great.

You're a man after my own heart, Stefan. Love that furry little bugger! :D

Seems like foreign is the way to go based on these last two pages. Pat must have been sweating with those two beauties lost in the post.

I'll join Tig in some Canada SW - a 12 back Land Speeder, and in situ with some friends.
