I love the fact you have tracked down an MOC from your childhood shop. What an amazing score. It's all about the memories!
My childhood shop was Goldie in Coventry. I haven't seen any MOC from Goldie and can't afford them anyway. I did manage to find a Goldie stickered cardback, but I sent it on vialli, a fellow Coventry collector as I still had my childhood cardback for that figure.
palitoyjunky. Love the MOC bum face
Cazza. Pleased for you to track down that magazine, i have no memory of it, but for some reason i recognise that 'putting the bird in the cage' drawing thing
Andyclarke. Wow Even as a child I never saw a Palitoy cantina in that good condition!
palitoyjunky. Amazing 1980's catalogue, never seen one like that before.
Dublinjeff. Rebel commando tastic
itfciain. You big show off. I knew USA stock came here, why on earth did we send UK stock to the US? Tell the yanks to keep their hands off our Palitoy!
indianawars. Lovely MOC. 2 x bumfaces in as many pages. Something weird is going on
chipsteak. I love the landspeeder
Spoons. cacca tie looks amazing
Currymonster. I hope you wear one of those in public one day!
Heith. You could/should recreate the scene where chewy nearly chins luke for trying to put the cuffs on
poncho. Great display skills, it looks good
benny100. Congratulations. I remember you saying you wanted one when you saw my collection years ago, mine isn't real. So well done for getting the real deal!

This little beauty arrived today and is, for me, one of my top grail items. Yeah, that's right, a 77-back Klaatu Skiff Guard MOC is one of my grails. Don't call the nurse just yet because actually it's not. See that price sticker at the top-left? That's my grail.
This MOC is from the main toy shop where I used to buy my SW figures - Carter's of Bradford, which housed three floors of toys back in the day. It actually came from the collection of the shop owner's son, which went to auction after his death 5 years ago. That small price sticker holds so many memories that I can't stop looking at it and smiling. (Yeah, just typing that I realise how stupid it sounds!!). I've been after a MOC from one of my childhood toy shops for a long time now, but deep down I never expected to find one.
Thanks to Joe for posting his 8D8 with the same price sticker about 10 pages or so back, and pointing me towards Andy Davies who was selling these. By the time I got to him he only had two left - this and Prune Face - which were on eBay and finishing the very next day. Well, there was no way I was going to miss out.
