Every time the kids watch Pokemon reminds me of this, gotta catch em all lol

The POTF line came out shortly before I moved on from toys (then I got back into them in my 20's, go figure). I was lucky enough to have got all of them as a kid, with the exception of Yak Face and R2 pop up. I loved Luke Stormtrooper, Imperial Gunner and Lando General. I also thought Han Carbonite was cool, but didn't have much play value.

Had I not got the majority as a kid, I'm not sure I would have wanted to get back into collecting in the 90's as it would have been too expensive for a poor college kid.

On another note, I've never had a desire to own any of the Ewoks or Droids line figures. I have zero connection to them other than I remember seeing them in the store once and shook my head at how silly they looked.

As a kid like many have said I was pretty much done with SW when the last 17 were released. I do rem one or two back then that I was intrigued about i.e. Luke Storm and R2 pop up.
When I rediscovered SW in 95/96 the last 17 were all the rage as u guys know. My early focuses were putting together 12&21 backs and soon after I went for the last 17 on Tri-logo 8)
My least fav last 17 r without a doubt r Anakin and Dignitary :!:

I think most of the POTF figures is ok, I guess some of them could be better and anakin should never have been made. But then again some of the sw,esb and rotj figures or weapons for them could have been better. I am thinking about yellow saber for luke, some figures have hands that can't have a weapon in the hand, some figures should have had removeable helmets etc. etc.

I was fifteen when the last seventeen hit the shops, by then I was well into my Sinclair Spectrum, football, building BMX's and girls. My Star Wars collection was sat in the loft with my Action Man stuff, I don't ever remember seeing any of the last seventeen in shops.
I don't feel any affinity to them like I do the original 77, however I do like them and feel they compliment the original run perfectly.
