Largest Collection of Star Wars Memorabilia In The World!

Has anyone seen the news today? Guinness World Records launching 2014 book and they released the largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia. I wish I had that museum to myself, I'd love to live inside it with 300,000 different collectibles!

I use to get that book every Christmas at first I loved it but theres only so many tim3s u can read about the worlds tallest man or worlds longest fingernails before its just a quick flip through

Its a really cool collection, but then what? when you've collected everything where do you go? maybe you just start to horde them and adore your vintage Gollum style

Considering this man was trolling the toy isles before some of you were born and a few of us were around age 6, it is no wonder (It does scare me an adult in the 70's was at this)....add to the fact that you are under the Lucasfilm payroll and you can endup ammassing a shitload. Congrats to Sansweet.

I know some of these things are near impossible to get but they would be even more impossible if poor

For me, the biggest surprise there is that there was a Lucasfilm liason to fans.

I met Steve at ce2. He's a really really nice guy. He had brought a selection of stuff from rancho obi wan with him. I will post some pictures if you like. He had loads of time for everyone and loved talking about Star Wars. I saw his talk on the collectors stage and the guy is nuts about collecting. He did make some fair points though. His collection is amazing and although he's got some of the super rare stuff and in some cases paid peanuts for it, about 95% of his collection is worth less than break even. If it is associated with Star Wars, he has to have it, jar jars and all.

He also gives 2 hour guided tours of his collection if you want to become a friend of the museum. At least the collection is not locked up and the only proof of it that exists is the odd photo on the Internet.

To be honest, Sansweet has lots of great stuff- but when it comes to quality- im thinking JJ may have it.
