Hi folks :D I'm new to the forum (been browsing for a while tho). I have quite alot of vintage stuff for sale and would appreciate a valuation or two if poss please!

I have put all the pics in a zip file cos there's a lot of 'em.

Most of the vehicles are complete. There are are no doubles in the figures, and everything shown is period original. I tried to show condition in the pics (generally condition is pretty good).

There is some 90's stuff in there to and a few mail away items (watches, figures etc). And some stuff like full sets of KFC promo cups lolly wrappers biscuits barrel, vintage place mats an R2 sweets tin with 15 year old sweets still in it! other bits and bobs. and a electronic klingon warbird thrown in!

Also a complete set of die cast keys chains (R2 one is signed by Kenny Baker! I met him at a sci-fi con years ago) one or two of the packets shows some yellowing.

Anyway av a gander at the pics and let me know what you think its all worth. Also would I get more for it all selling separately??

Many Thanks

Hey mate, welcome to the forum.

You may want to try and upload some pics to a photo sharing website such as photobucket as a lot of people will be wary of having to download a file in order to view your pics.

Cheers Ryan

  that is a seriously impressive collection you've got there 8) without doubt selling separately will net you a greater profit but it will be a painstaking task.

Hi Folks, Thanks for the replies so far. Just to clarify I'd like to get a few valuations on the collection so I can make a decision. Anyone want to have a stab at a reasonable amount this lot is worth to a collector? I know its worth a more than a few quid!, I seen some silly prices being asked on ebay and some reasonable prices. I saw one lot with quite alot less than this one go for 1K. So if poss i'd like to get a few values.

A bit more info on a couple things: the little button to lock wings in place is missing on the battle damaged x-wing (see pic) and the front nose just need securing (I think its just a little screw underneath). The foam on the chewie bandoleer has gone weird (really soft and rubs off easily)

As requested I tried to put it on photobucket!

Hi mate

That is a nice looking collection that you have there. It is a shame that the figures aren't in as great a shape as the ships appear to be - and that you are missing a lot of weapons.

The good news is that from what I can see, most of the ships and vehicles appear to be pretty much complete - you have the bulk of the Falcon parts and also Chin Guns for the AT-AT which makes them a lot more valuable. The boxes look in reasonable shape and overall there are some nice pieces there - although noting particularly rare.

In addition you have 9 of the Last 17 figures, including the R2 pop-up - which is good - however apart from the Imperial Dignitary (no weapon anyway) and Han Carbonite, it doesn't look like they are complete.

Taking this into account, and with quite a few of the others missing bits and pieces then I think that the full value of the vintage figures is around the £250-£350 mark. I would say that the ships could be worth around £500 as a bulk lot - although you might get closer to £750 selling them individually.

With regards to the modern stuff - I know sweet FA about values of these but in my experience they are generally not worth much - the vintage set might get you £10-£15 and maybe you'll get £100 for the rest (on a good day!)

From just a cursory glance I would say that as a bulk lot you would get around the £1000 mark (probably with or without the modern) - individually you will get more but will have the hassle of boxing them all up :D

Man than TIE Interceptor looks awesome, as do all your ships. Really good collection. As has been noted you are missing a fair few of the more expensive figure accessories which holds value back. But I'd still say that low end is £1k and high end nearer the £1500-2k mark, totally dependent on how you choose to sell it, i.e. bulk or individually.

good luck

Found the interior cardboard insert for the rancor box! Plus some other odds and sods like promo pepsi cartons, socks, magazines, the complete Vader hardback book, ROTJ vintage duvet cover! (alot of you I know won't be interested in most of that but just sayin :) )

All sold already? Jesus this is getting boring now. Any chance of collectors not bulk sellers on getting any stuff nowadays?
